Florida AIDS Walk 2012 is a 5 kilometer walk that will take place on Sunday, May 20th, and will start and end at the beach! What’s more, because our Walkers love a good time, we are planning a food and music festival to take place on the beach after the Walk! A whole new event is in store for us: an event that is entertaining and fun enough to be worthy of our Florida AIDS Walk walkers!
Funds raised by Florida AIDS Walk will enable the expansion of free HIV testing and prevention education in Florida’s Broward and Miami Dade counties, directly benefit organizations like Minority Development & Empowerment, Inc, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Broward House, The Center for Positive Connections, Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center, Latinos Salud and The Pride Center and AIDS Project SunServe.
