VOICES
The goals of VOICES are to increase the awareness of
the risk of obtaining and transmitting HIV and other STDs.
These diseases endanger not only your health but also the
health of your partners and loved ones.
7 Messages about changing risky behavior
- Everyone who is sexually active is vulnerable
to HIV infection and other STDs, as are their partners and
loved ones.
- Safer Sex, including correct and consistent condom
use, will help to prevent HIV infection.
- Using condoms correctly
is easy, “you can do it.”
- Different kinds of condoms
are available to meet your needs: “You have options
to choose from.”
- ”Condoms don’t have to ruin
the mood.”
- Getting
your partner to use condoms is possible with good negotiation
skills: “you can do it.”
- Condoms are acceptable
to men and women of diverse backgrounds and cultures and in different kinds of relationships.
If you want to know more about how to use a condom
properly or for a free confidential HIV test, please call us to
attend one of our VOICES sessions at 954.315.4530.
